OLDER ADULT MINISTRIES
FIRSTS (First is Reaching Spiritually to Seniors)
If you are 60 years or older, you are invited to attend (a spouse under 60 also is welcome) FIRSTS' activities. Plan to enjoy yourself as we fellowship. Our programs include: Wiener Roasts, Breakfasts & Ice Cream Socials at Lake Storey, Road trips, programs with a speaker - dessert included. Check newsletters and bulletins for more information.
Poetry & Tea
Bring your favorite poem (tea cup) and share with other poetry lovers. Meets the 2nd Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. in the church library.
Christian Garden Club
If you enjoy growing plants and learning about them or making floral and/or garden decorations, come on the last Monday of the month to room #111 at 9:30 a.m. Sometimes there are "road trips" as well!
Quilt Club
Come and learn how to quilt or share your knowledge with others. The group meets in #110 on the 2nd & 4th Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
Book Club
Men & women are invited to book club, usually held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at various locations.You are given the book title to read in advance so you can come prepared to discuss that book. If you haven't read it, come anyway and enjoy the fellowship! There are always snacks!Call Susan Hayes for details at 342-5681.
M.A.C.S. (Mature Active Christian Singles)
meets the first Friday of the month in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 p.m. with a meal and program. Ages are usually 30 + but is open to all Christian singles.
