Welcome to our online ministry of First United Methodist Church. The vision of our congregation is to offer worship opportunities that will passionately open your heart to an experience with God; to present study tools that will open your mind to all that God has done, is doing, and will do through his word, written and living; and encourage you to open your hands to reach out in service for Jesus as a response to all he has done for you. Our ministry location is found at 120 North Kellogg Street in Galesburg, Illinois. Our reach for Christ is local and global because we are part of the connectional system of the United Methodist Church.

Our desire on this web site is to assist you in building a relationship with Jesus Christ and the church through information, inspiration, and other resources. You will note that as Disciples of Christ are
in a process of development, so the same is true of this web site.
In the weeks ahead we will be working to provide a more complete on-line experience.

From the Office....

Our staff is here to serve and try to answer any questions you may have about First United Methodist and our church family. We care, and hope that you feel comfortable enough to call upon us. You can be sure that your personal concerns will remain confidential, and we have many resources and talents to draw upon. The church office is open Monday- Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm and 8:00am-4:00pm on Fridays.The office is closed from 12:00 noon - 1:00pm weekdays for lunch. We offer many opportunities in which to serve, pray, learn, fellowship together, and enjoy fun activities for all ages. We also offer many volunteer opportunities. Be sure to check us out, because first and foremost, we ALL are God's family - and we care about YOU!
