WOMEN'S PRAYER BREAKFASTS

meet each Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. at Hardee’s and at 8:30 a.m. at Hy-Vee on Henderson St. All women invited!

YOGA CHIX

meet each Monday & Thursday (no holidays) from 2:30 - 4:15 p.m. in the lounge for a fee of only $2.00 per session payable to the instructor. All women invited!

PRAYER-GRAM

Calling all grandmas! To pray for our grandchildren, meet us in the chapel THE SECOND FRIDAY of each month at 12:30 p.m. There is power in prayer & the more Grandmas, the more power! Sam. 12:23 - "far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you" (bring your grandchildren's photos to share).

NEEDED

Two leaders for funeral dinners and three co-leaders to help leaders.

FLAGS NEEDED!

Our crafters need 4" x 6 " cloth American flags for memorial crosses. You may leave them at the church office anytime. Thank you.

We are glad to have items for you to borrow, but if you do borrow something from the kitchen, please notify Vi Welty at the church: 342-3197, or home. If she is unavailable, please leave a note in the kitchen of what you need to borrow.

WHEN "UN"DECORATING YOUR HOME

for the holidays, our crafters will gladly take any unwanted decorations, wreaths, holiday items, etc. to be "repurposed" for next year's bazaar. (Please - NO Christmas trees unless they are very small (table top size).

SOMETIMES WE GET A GIFT

we don't really need or want. That's where our "Pink Boutique" comes in! They will happily accept your donated items, then price & sell them to support our United Methodist Women's Missions. We thank you for all donations!

NEEDED

New or very gently used toys, games, puzzles & books for boys and girls age 8 - 12 to sell in the UMW Pink Boutique. Thank you for all donations.

UMW PINK BOUTIQUE ADDS HOURS!

Besides their hours Mondays & Thursdays,
9 a.m. - noon. (and an occasional Sunday), the Pink Boutique will also be open during Dinner Delight on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. They are located next to the handicap restroom across from Fellowship Hall, north side. All proceeds support UMW Missions. Donated items AND sales are needed to keep it going. Thank you!

DONATIONS NEEDED

Have you ever gotten gifts you don't really want or need? Our UMW would like to take them off your hands! We wish to have some brand new items to sell along with our wonderful craft items to earn money for UMW Mission projects. We heartily thank you for all donations!

 

FUNERAL DINNER VOLUNTEER UPDATE

Can you donate food or help serve funeral dinners? Please contact Dee Milner or the church office and thank you for helping us when you are needed. Offering a luncheon to a bereaved family is a very caring and integral ministry of our church and we appreciate all who donate food and/or time to this. - UMW Luncheon Committee

BEREAVEMENT MEAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We need more names to add to our rotation to be in charge of funeral meals. You will have helpers, we just need one or two more people to take turns to lead the meal. You will be on a rotation with three other names. If interested, please call the church office at 342-3197. Thank you.
